Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of illinoismoversinc.com and the moving services provided by Illinois Movers Inc ("we," "us," "our"), a licensed interstate motor carrier operating under USDOT #2628513 and MC #914433. By accessing our site or booking a move, you agree to these Terms. Last updated: October 2026.

Estimates & Quotes

Quotes generated online or by our coordinators are based on the information you provide about your inventory, locations, and dates.

• Instant online prices are accurate estimates; a final binding quote is issued after a coordinator confirms your details.
• Adding items or services not in your original inventory may change your price; any change is quoted and approved before it applies.
• Your binding estimate, order confirmation, and Bill of Lading together form the agreement governing your move.

Booking, Deposits & Payment

• A deposit reserves your date and crew and is credited toward your total.
• The balance is due on delivery before unloading unless your estimate states otherwise.
• All payments are in U.S. dollars; include your client name and Job/Invoice number with payment.

Liability & Valuation

As a licensed carrier, our liability for loss or damage to your goods is governed by the valuation coverage you select and by applicable federal regulations (49 U.S.C. and FMCSA rules) for interstate moves.

• Full-Value Protection makes us liable for the repair, replacement, or cash settlement value of lost or damaged items.
• Released value is the economical option, with liability limited to a set amount per pound per article.
• Claims must be submitted in writing; see our Claims page for the process and timelines.
• We are not liable for items packed by the owner, perishable or hazardous goods, or ordinary wear.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule subject to the window stated in your estimate. Deposits are refundable for cancellations made within that window; cancellations outside it, or on short notice, may incur a fee. Contact your coordinator as early as possible.

Prohibited Items

For safety and legal compliance, we cannot transport hazardous materials, flammables, explosives, corrosives, perishables, plants, or illegal items. Your coordinator can provide the full list.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal interstate-moving law applies. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

We may update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to this page. Your continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
